New for Summer 2009!

This summer, CMSC is hosting summer programs with a TWIST! Each week has a kid friendly theme to meet the needs and interests of all families who will visit the museum.

Beginning June 1st, CMSC will be offering 12 weeks of exciting events. Check out the museum’s calendar pages to find out when you can take a trip into space with our Digitalis Planetarium. Be sure to come early as there is limited seating. For those children who love to be creative ART BEAT is a great way for children to put their artistic skills to use. Tuesdays at 10:30 is our ever popular Tales for Tots program. This program is geared for children from ages 1 to 4 and involves a story followed by a fun activity.

FUN FRIDAY Community Nights are held annually each summer! Stop by the museum between 6 and 8 PM for free admission to the educational and interactive exhibits, pizza provided by The Filling Station, and special entertainment! CMSC gives back to the community by sponsoring these community nights each year. Mark your calendar for the third Friday of the month in June, July, and August for this unique opportunity all summer long!
